Pesarapappu Garelu (పెసరపప్పు గారెలు, பேசற பப்பு கறேழு, मूंग दल वडा) is very famous in South India. It used to do either Urud Dal or Pesarapappu Garelu for every festival in India especially in Andra Pradesh.

Ingredients to serve :
- Pesarapappu (mung dal) 1 cup
- Onion 1 medium chopped
- Green chilies 3 chopped
- Cumin seeds 1 tabsp
- Curry leaves a few
- Rice flour 1 tabsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method :
- Soak moong dal in water for 3-4 hours and grind in to a coarse paste.
- Then add chopped onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, salt to taste, rice flour mix well.
- Make vadas on a plantain leaf.
- Drop then in to hot oil and deep fry in a medium flame till golden colour.
- Remove and serve with coconut or onion chutney.
