Kandipodi (కంది పొడి,तुअर दाल पाउडर): It is a spicy powder mixed with hot rice and ghee .Simple yet traditional recipe from Andhra. Kandipappu ( toor dal ) it self seaks it is rich in protein.

Appx. Nutritional values :
- 10-15 Red chillies ( as per once taste)
- 1 cup toor dal
- 1/2 cup channa dal or 1 cup Dhalia (roasted channa dal)
- jeera 1 tbsp
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- Dry roast toor dal , channa dal , redchillies and cumin seperately
- Allow them to cool , once they reach room temperature grind all of them along salt and garlic in to a coarse powder
