Ingredients:

  • Capsicums  4 Medium
  • Onion  1 Big
  • Jeera  1/2 tsp
  • Few curry leaves and red chillies
  • Urad dal   1 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds  1 tsp
  • Besan 1 tbsp.
  • A pinch of  hing
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil   3 tbsp

Method :

  1. Chop the capsicums and onions into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add red chillies, urad dal, mustard seeds, jeera, hing and curry leaves.
  3. Add onion when mustard seeds start spluttering. Fry till onions turn light brown.
  4. Add capsicum pieces and fry for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add turmeric and salt. Fry for 10 minutes more.
  6. Add chilli powder and besan and give it a nice stir.
  7. Take off from the fire after a minute and serve with rice or roti.
