Apple Kheer (ఆపిల్ ఖీర్, ஆப்பிள் பழம் க்கிர், सेब की खीर)

Apple Kheer (ఆపిల్ ఖీర్, ஆப்பிள் பழம் க்கிர், सेब खीर) is a popular variety recipe especially prepared on Mahashivaratri. It can be served for a delicious mid evening snack or a yummy desert.

Ingredients to serve :

  • Apples 2
  •  Milk 1/2 liter
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds 5
  • Sugar 4 tbsp
  • Pistas 5
  • Ghee 1 Tbsp

Method :

  1. Boil the milk in a pan.
  2. Add sugar to it, stir and cook on a medium flame till the milk gets reduced to half.
  3. Now add grated apples to it.
  4. After first boil, remove from the flame.
  5.  Sprinkle with almonds, cardamom powder and pistas.
  6. Top off with 1 tbsp of ghee.
  7. Apple Kheer is ready. It  can be served hot or cold.
