Apple Kheer (ఆపిల్ ఖీర్, ஆப்பிள் பழம் க்கிர், सेब खीर) is a popular variety recipe especially prepared on Mahashivaratri. It can be served for a delicious mid evening snack or a yummy desert.

Ingredients to serve :
- Apples 2
- Milk 1/2 liter
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Almonds 5
- Sugar 4 tbsp
- Pistas 5
- Ghee 1 Tbsp
Method :
- Boil the milk in a pan.
- Add sugar to it, stir and cook on a medium flame till the milk gets reduced to half.
- Now add grated apples to it.
- After first boil, remove from the flame.
- Sprinkle with almonds, cardamom powder and pistas.
- Top off with 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Apple Kheer is ready. It can be served hot or cold.
